Mining is a developed industry branch both in Turkey and the world. Turkey is a rich country in terms of mines. Moreover, it is one of the leading miners in the world in terms of certain mines. Not all of the mines of Turkey has been identified yet. Prospecting activities are ongoing at full speed and new mineral deposits are being found. Turkish mining industry supplies large part of its production to domestic industrial institutions. And a certain part of it is exported abroad as raw materials or semi-processed goods.

In accordance with the Mining Law No. 3213, "Mines are under the sovereignty and disposition of the State, not subject to land ownership on where they exist. Mines may be operated by the State, or by single real persons or legal entities on the condition that State's right is paid.

ASTEC performs pre-laboratory and pilot tests, complete plant designs, design and production of process equipment, electrical automation systems and plant assembly and commissioning operations in new investment and modernization projects for mining and ore dressing plants.
