Primary goal of ASTEC Endüstri's design and engineering activities is SAFETY. Therefore, ASTEC adopts a safety approach which suits the Project's nature to allow for project to be executed in a safe manner and ensure plant's operability and safe maintenance. This approach grounds on ensuring safe operation of plant and process designs by their nature to the greatest extent possible by defining hazards in design through safety reviews and choosing design solutions that will mitigate those hazards. Among these reviews and studies are Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP), Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
